When was the last time that you had the mood to check out the 1000 steps in mt Dandenong?

Its name, The Hidden Kitchen is definitely telling the truth, as its hidden deep in the middle of residential area.

Colourful Yunnan is an old place actually, at least been on the map for a long time before it got more well known among the general public.

However, after nearly a week of our weekend road trip to Lilydale, a place called Lilydale General is still clearly popping out in my mind.

Hopscotch is a new trendy micro brewery in Southbank, Melbourne. Besides brewing their own beers, they offer heaps of beers from Melbourne own famous little micro breweries.

We had lunch a The Boathouse @ Lake Daylesford two days in a row, which can be strong proof of its taste and warm service. Fish and chips, and bowl of mussels are must have, they are so delicious!

So here I am, in Johnny Dante, ordering my one and only cup of weak latte of the day, right before Unieka’s next feed.

I admit, I am a big  and good eater with my own kind of criticism. But there’s a place I actually struggled to finish my food, not because of the quality but quantity. And this place is called “The Tradesman Café”.

For a nice cuppa, highett has a good selection of cafes for you to choose from. And our new favourite which is also super close to the library, is Monkey Can Fly.

When Miss Viet came into town, we were quite curious about trying out the other parts of the Vietnamese cuisine; besides it world famous “PHO”.

After some browsing around Ballarat, we happily found a little Thai place hidden on the Sturt street in the CBD of Ballarat called Jasmine Thai.

Since we were more tired than hungry, we ordered some food to share. One pulled pork pizza, 2 beef pies and some coffees to go.

It’s hard to find a quiet place for lunch in the Melbourne CBD. That’s why I was happy to see that the European Italian Franchise Vapiano has spread it wings to Melbourne.

Have you ever had a love-hate relationship with a place? Well, we do, its name is Astroluxe, a local café on Chesterville road in Bentleigh east.

When you go to a cafe and feel like being back in your own living room, you know you’ve found your favorite place. Frank’s in Cheltenham is that for us!

Little Tommy Tucker on Centre Road in Bentleigh has one of the best chai I have ever had in Melbourne. Something you need to try yourself!

Smart hubby wants me to talk about Fat Bob’s, as we went here before our trip, quote his words:” you have to!” Alright, how do I start?

Guess I still can’t call myself a Melbournian girl until I get to know all the hidden gorgeous food spots . And… Bar Idda just proved that comment is right.

All of sudden I am in the sushi mood and there I see a hidden sign “Tokyo Kitchen Sakae, spicy tuna roll”, I knew I got my lunch settled in Brighton.
