Didn’t drop off little Zonni till 10. Plus made no progress cleaning up the house and didn’t even bother to put dishes in the dishwasher.
A slow day and lazy day like this, all I wanna do is getting out of the house and getting the mind inspired, mood motivated and physically far away from housework.
Out of sight out of mind. So here I am, in Johnny Dante, ordering my only cup of weak latte of the day, right before Unieka’s next feed. I love this place as much as the Milk Boy a few steps away. How awesome to have choices in life! Different from the milk boy, Johnny Dante is more like a place for a sitting down meal with more seating area in and out, rather than a dynamic fast-paced cafe for takeaways. Well, you can, of course, decide however the place is for you though.
Johnny Dante | The Food
Quiet days, that doesn’t matter. For me, Johnny Dante is definitely a place for mums bubs catchup, bigger space and more choices of pastries. My all-time favourites here would be their various muffins, pies with your choice of salad and all-day brekkie. Their French toast, the Dante omelette and egg Benedict are quite popular, have ordered a few times and no disappointment so far. Generous in quality and the flavour isn’t bad at all. If you’re super hungry, their big breakfast will fill your tummy perfectly.
Johnny Dante | The Service
Now down to the service, the staff who work there are all very friendly, they might be working in their own pace time to time but the vibe does make you feel relaxed. And to us, the most essential ingredient for being returning customers would be their patience and helpfulness to allocate you and your kids.
So you can enjoy your time there comfortably with minimum stress. Go get a cuppa and give yourself some downtime at Johnny Dante!
Happy days!
