Mood: sleepy and hungry
The little one had a little tantrum this morning, we all think maybe she’s teething, tried to touch her mouth to see whether anything was coming out…Nope. Her temperature is normal, after a few cries she fell asleep like an angel, so…its a tantrum.
Finally, after hours of cuddling, feeding, nappy changes and singing, I got an hour window to have a cuppa and to do some writing.
It was a beautiful Sunday yesterday and also the first day after having our family around for 4 months, “we should go out for breakfast” I said. Don’t take me wrong, it was quite nice to have family around, however, its also good to have our quality time.
Parkdale Beach Cafe | The Vibe
We went to Parkdale beach cafe in Parkdale, a cozy place that has a perfect location, as its set on the beachfront. Because of the good weather, it didn’t take us long to get a table, it would be a different story if you want to sit outside on the terrace though, there it was all packed! For me, Parkdale Beach Cafe is quite a kids-friendly place, they have a few options on the menu for little ones and space for prams when it’s not busy.

I remembered the fish cake I ordered last time which wasn’t that impressive, so I didn’t feel like having an oily meal. We ordered a scone and smoked salmon with greens.
Scones were nice but quite small to fill my hubby’s stomach, salmon was very tasty, the flavour of the dish was light but also comfortable to eat. Price-wise, Parkdale Beach Cafe is not cheap, well, if you want to have a relaxing stroll right after brekkie, you might be just willing to pay for the price.
