Find a new spot to grab my first coffee of the day with no fuss. $4 for a large cappuccino, how does that sound?
This cozy place is called “White rabbit”, located next to the Middle Brighton train track and only 2 minutes walk from the station.
Anyway, this is not the only reason why I have positive comments on this place, and you all know I am normally quite a critic when it comes to my moments on the lips.
White Rabbit | Family Vibe
The first time I went to White Rabbit was with my mother’s group for a night out without babies, and once I walked in, the warmth of the cafe and lovely smile I got on the way to my table impressed me big time.
The second thing is always the treasure hunt on the menu, and this time, there was no hunt because I love the menu and want to try pretty much everything. Well… if my stomach and wallet allow me to.
As a mom, you pay attention to the “baby-friendly” factors all the time so you can plan your next trip with the little one, and no exception this time either. Apart from the wide space among the tables, the patience and friendliness towards youngsters from the staff make you feel relieved about the possible intense vibes caused by them. The drawing pens are provided once the littlies sit down and some small talks between them just to settle the little guests.
White Rabbit | The Flavors
Now down to the food. I ordered the calamari pasta and my ladies ordered roasted lamb shank and couscous salad. Apparently, seafood and pizza are their strengths since I saw a lot of plates of seafood pizza being carried out from the kitchen.
However honestly speaking, the lamb shank for my friend Julie looks amazing! The meat fell off the bone easily and one bite for me definitely adds me as a fan. I haven’t been crazy about couscous but the other friend Chrissy loves it, which tells me something. And of course my pasta, I love love love it! The portion is generous, the calamari was tender and flavorsome. All I wanted after I nearly licked my plate was to try the pizza next time.
Alright, I think I can tick “getting something positive written” off my list now.
Wish you all proud mommy and daddy have a lovely day!
