We’re no millionaire, not even close, so in reality, “BUDGET BUDGET AND BUDGET” would be on the top of our mind all the time!
If this isn’t new for you, then keep reading, if you’re in a luxurious position with a big budget (AKA no budget), then good on you and I truly mean it!
Going on a grocery run with kids, we always keep eyes on the sales and freebies, honestly, I enjoy it, I doubt if anyone doesn’t like price drop and free stuff. Anyway, during school holidays, I love keeping a record of all the free activities that are offered around, they’re mostly quite stimulating and interactive, which will for sure keep the kiddos entertained while the adults can tick thing off the list. How awesome!
So this isn’t like any other posts I did, it’s basically a provision of kids summer activities offered around Melbourne, where you can go without worrying about cost but also able to get your thing done too! Fun or not, judge by yourself and you have nothing to lose.
1, IKEA Kids Summer holiday programme, offer on Tue-Wed from 11-2pm, only in January.
2, Bunnings school holiday programme, which provides DIY projects for kids to do. Check your local Bunnings for what’s on. They also run a colouring competition. Check here for more info.
3, Waikiki at Waves leisure centre in Cheltenham, a Hawaiian-theme school holiday event which is held every Friday in Jan from 1-4pm. (FREE event only pay admission)
4., Zoos Victoria (Werribee open range, Melbourne zoo and Healesville sanctuary) offers free entry for kids under 16 on weekends and school holidays till 29 January. Ticket prices and details, check here.
The above exciting activities will all end on Jan 2018, so better hurry up if you want to have the last taste of summer holiday fun with your cheeky monkeys.
It doesn’t have to cost a bank to let the kiddos to see the outside world. So Enjoy and feel FREE to have loads of fun!
Love,
xx
