Good recipes have to be shared, as I always say but first time staying here. Hence, this easy peasy Orange cake recipe is a must.
Saturday afternoon, got friend’s little boy over for a playdate. He is a good eater, so preparing something for the kiddos to snack would be a wise idea. Looking at our full basket of large oranges, it didn’t take me long to decide to use them to make something sweet but not that sweet, and its perfect for everyone’s afternoon tea time.
This easy orange cake recipe only requires 6 ingredients with a pinch of orange zest (optional)!
Enjoy and have fun baking!
Grease a cake pan (I used a 23cm one) and preheat the oven at 180 degrees
Combine ALL the ingredients in a large bowl and mix it well
Transfer the orange cake mix into the cake pan
Bake the orange cake for 35 minutes. To tell if it's cooked, put a wooden stick into the cake and when comes out clean it's done :)
Take the orange cake out of the oven and cool it down on a wire rack before removing it from the pan.
To serve sprinkle some icing sugar on the top and/or wiped cream on the side. Plus, a nice warm cuppa will make a perfect tea break with this delicous Orange cake!
