My smart hubby has been blaming me keeping the recipe for making steamed egg for the baby a secret. When he’s running out of ideas and time, he needs this what I call “life-saver recipe”.
Okay then, good things should be shared, so here I’m sharing this simple steamed egg recipe with all the proud mamas and papas out there who need some more ideas to make some quick and nice meals for their little ones.
Crack the top of the egg, so you can peal a hole on the egg shell, shake until all the egg is out of the egg shell.
Put the empty egg shell aside (don't throw it away yet)
Mix the egg well with salt
Fill the empty egg shell with water, and pour it into the egg mixture
Stir the mixture well but be gentle, until its finely mixed
Put onto the steamer once the water is boiling
Set the timer to 10 minutes
Once the time is up, turn the fire off and leave it till its cool enough to take the egg out.
Add a few drops of soy sauce and enjoy! (optional)
