- 250 gr Self raising flour
- 2 Eggs
- 300 ml Milk
- 6 Apples (e.g. Granny Smith / Golden delicious)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 50 gr Sugar
- Vegetable Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and add half of the milk.
- Stir in the Self-Rising Flour to the egg mixture until you have a smooth batter.
- Gradually add the rest of the milk while stirring continuously.
- Peel the apples and remove the cores using an apple corer.
- Cut the apples into 1½ cm thick slices.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep saucepan or fryer to 190°C (375°F), or until you see a white smoke rising.
