Hopscotch is a new trendy micro brewery in Southbank, Melbourne. Besides brewing their own beers, they offer heaps of beers from Melbourne own famous little micro breweries.

On the day we went with work to Hopscotch our main focus was on the food! And… ooh.. they didn’t disappoint us at all!!

Personally I went for a nice cold glass of White Rabbit Pale Ale and their Hoppy Meal($20 Lunch Special): Beer battered fried chicken & lemongrass curry, flatbread, beans & grains, minted yogurt, citrus salad & torched lemon tartlet.
Honestly, this has to be one of the better lunch specials I have had as the food was just YUM!!
Also, 2 people in our group went for the “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner“, which is a whole roasted chicken in Alabama sauce, and mac & cheese. Enough food for 4 (but in our opinion will suit 3 men ;)). Honestly for just $55, this is a great deal.
Hopscotch might be a brewery but the big open space makes it a fine choice to go with the (bigger) kids on a Sunday Afternoon, can not help mentioning their free popcorn too.
Go and check it out, mark my word, you won’t be sorry.
